We recently completed a project that we’re really excited to share with you all! We had the pleasure of working with Elise, the founder of On the Bright Side, a new youth mentoring business.

When Elise first approached us, we hit it off right away. She had started to build her own website on another platform but quickly realized she didn’t have the technical skills required to make it stand out and reflect her unique and fun personality. Like many small business owners, Elise was also juggling her new venture with a full-time job, so time was limited.

Elise needed a website that reflected her fun and creative style, with lots of bright colors. We were able to take inspiration from her existing logo, incorporating the colors from the “rays” throughout the site to add pops of color. Elise also provided us with some stunning photographs from her photographer, which made building the website a breeze.

As we do with all of our website design projects, Elise provided us with all of the necessary copy laid out in headings and body, along with design inspiration and photos. It’s always helpful when our clients can provide us with inspiration for their website, including links to sites they love, design elements they want to include, and concepts they like (as well as things they don’t!).

We also installed a booking plugin on Elise’s website to allow her to easily take bookings from her clients. Once the website was complete, we met with Elise again for a training session to show her how to make changes on her own.

Overall, we had a great experience working with Elise and creating a website that truly reflects her and her new business. We love being able to help fellow small business owners bring their visions to life and are always excited to take on new projects!
