We are quite specific about what we use for our website building and hosting. Here are the software products and recommendations in relation to website hosting, website platforms and plugins that we use ourselves, for client website and recommended suite for anyone following along with the way we work here at Little Biz.

VentraIP - Domain & Hosting
Most of my clients host with VentraIP, they are Australian based hosting with fab support. CPanel hosting which includes email hosting, and you can add your web guru as an additional user to keep your account secure.
WordPress.org
Self-hosted WordPress websites - WordPress is open source and installed via your own hosting provider. (Not to be confused with WordPress.com, which is a WordPress hosted option with more restrictions).
Elementor - Page Builder
Easy to use drag and drop Page builder. Works best with a very light (simple) theme like Astra or Elementor Hello. Elementor comes in a free version and paid version - we use the paid version to build all our own & client websites.
WooCommerce
WooCommerce is the most popular plugin to create e-commerce (online shops) on the WordPress platforms. It integrates with many other plugins and has many different features.
Stripe - Payments
Payment Gateway for online payments, integrates well with WooCommerce, however you can also set up product links directly in stripe, which is good for certain business types.
Yoast SEO
Fabulous for all your basic SEO requirements, helps with keywords & enhancing your SEO on your website. It gives you recommendations to improve your SEO based on the keyword provided - for pages, products & categories.

Create beautiful images and social media posts with this amazing easy to use platform. It has a great arrangement of templates you can adjust to suit your own business, and has a free or paid version.
AppSumo
Looking for deals on apps for your business? AppSumo have loads of deals to choose from that range over a different variety of platforms - think SEO, social media, marketing & more!
Active Campaign
Integrates well into WordPress for next level email marketing & automation's. We use Active Campaign here at Little Biz, which works well for the campaigns & automations I need.
Mailerlite
Integrates well into WordPress for email marketing & automations. Mailerlite has an impressive free version, and when you hit your limit, the paid version is very reasonable. Easy to use & good reporting.
Loom - Recording
Screen Recording with web-cam and audio recording. Great for recording presentations. The free version allows up to 5 minute videos, whilst the paid version will allow longer recordings. Easy to use from the browser extension.
Yoast SEO

Systeme.io - Course Platform with Funnels
systeme.io is a great alternative to the popular course platforms. It has a yearly fee that is on a sliding scale, starting with a free version & an affiliate program for affiliate marketing. We are using systeme.io for our Little Biz Courses & Memberships.
Sociamonials - Social Media Scheduling & Posting
If you are looking for a new software to schedule and post to all your social media platforms, this one comes with a lifetime purchase deal through AppSumo, which is much cheaper than the alternatives, but performs well!
Coolors - Colour Generator
Coolors is a great website to help with picking colour palettes for your business, with a load of value in the free version. Random palette generation, choose an existing palette, get colours in an image, or browse through colours.

LastPass
Keeps all your passwords in one place and secure. Fantastic if you can't remember all the different passwords for all the different websites & memberships. Can also generate secure passwords to help keep you secure.
Dropbox - Storage
Cloud storage to store your backups, but also store and share your files and images. Many programs will integrate directly with dropbox for cloud storage. Dropbox works across different devices to keep accessibility handy.
Loom - Recording

Trello
Virtual sticky-notes, helping you to plan and keep track of your online to-do list. You can create many different boards and lists, add checklists and invite users to the boards to collaborate. You can make it pretty by updating the board colours & backgrounds too.
Monday.com
Monday is the tool of choice here at Little Biz to keep me organised. It has a free version and then different paid versions, and integrations to trello and other software programs. You can invite users to collaborate and has different view options - oh, and it is pretty!
TidyCal
TidyCal is a calendar booking system that is much more affordable than the alternatives with a lifetime deal on AppSumo! TidyCal integrates with stripe and zoom, which means you can take payment & create zoom links automatically for bookings made with you.

Loop Earplugs
Loops have been amazing for me! From using them when co-working, or when the kids are being super noisy... to concerts. They reduce the background noise and allow you to engage in conversations without the distractions.
